Bristol Song Recitals aims to bring the best of song to audiences in Bristol and the surrounding areas. Our aims are many:

  • To highlight the work of Bristol-based singers
  • To give younger singers of all levels chances to perform
  • To create chances for less experienced and choral singers to sing solo to peer groups and small audiences
  • To bring nationally and internationally renowned singers to the city for recitals
  • To explore new ways of presenting traditional recitals
  • To find, create and support new songs and song cycles
  • Not just classical, but other styles too!
  • To work with existing organisations, festivals and venues within the city to promote singing in the City of Song
