Laura will be singing music by Bellini, Mozart and Copland in her recital on 27th September

Laura recently graduated from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama with a Masters in Vocal Performance and has since been working and performing in both the UK and internationally. Last year she performed with; Toronto OperaFest at the Glenn Gould Studios, Canada, Berlin Opera Academy, Berlin, Teignmouth Music Festival, Devon and with Vivo D’arte, Hemel Hempstead.

Having a passion for performing, Laura has been involved in over twenty Operas and has performed in several premieres of newly-composed works. Roles include: Mimi (La Boheme), Second Lady (Die Zauberflöte), Ilia (Idomeneo), 2nd Niece (Peter Grimes), Susanna (Le Nozze di Figaro), Fiordiligi (Cosi fan tutte), Owl (The Cunning Little Vixen), Prince Charming (Cendrillon). Modern Opera roles includes; Shelly (Anna Nicole), Angel (Faustus: The Last Night), Dr Goffman (The Madness Game), Phoebe (The Wolves Descend).

Laura has a keen interest in Modern Opera and has worked with the company Music Theatre Wales for a selection of scenes from various Modern Operas such as Anna Nicole, The Tempest, The Importance of Being Earnest and Faustus: The Last Night.

Also comfortable on the Concert platform, Laura has performed regularly with choirs and orchestras across the UK. She was an active Choral Scholar for BBC National Chorus of Wales and performed on the BBC Dr Who Symphonic Spectacular UK tour and with the BBC Ten Pieces Wales tour as well as solos for BBC Radio 3.
